The mankind thrived. We sent first humans to Mars. New technology quickly emerged and changed everyones life. Billions of people were online every day. Millions were using virtual reality as a means of escape from real life problems they experienced. And for a while it was good. But then something terrible happened. 

The virus came. Nobody knows its origins. Some claim it was created by scientists in some experimental lab somewhere in China. At first the virus just caused high fever. Unfortunately it was enough for seniors to kill them. Later the virus developed and caused massive wave of deaths. 

Governments tried everything they could to stop the spreading. But it was too late. Before the first vaccine was developed, 15% of world population died. Before the first vaccine successfully saved infected patient, another 10% of world population died. 

Men spent billions to create a solution. And at last it worked. Mankind was saved. The vaccine was tested on apes before doctors applied it to humans. And that caused new problem. Apes mutated and developed the need to feed on fresh blood of humans. 

Thus the Apevampires were born. They gained incredible strength. Enough to escape from the facilities where they were being held. 

As the virus spread to other apes, the new disaster appeared. Humans were not save outside anymore, especially during night time. Military was sent to patrol cities and kill every ape. And thats how it all happened. 

Right now we are facing a crisis and nobody knows if we will ever find a solution other than killing all the apes in the world.
