In ancient times, the continent of Porcinia flourished. Every corner of the world was inhabited by Fungaloid, a small mushroom species that spent the day in harmony with the surrounding world, breathed life into the forest, and played its part in maintaining the cycle of life.

As settlements grew, more and more Fungaloids entered the larger kingdom, exposing the less kind parts of Porcinia and leaving it untreated. Unfortunately, this desolate land has become a hotbed of corruption, the worlds natural evil. Corruption overtook plants and consumed life in the aftermath. Some Fungaloid faced an unexpected fate because they could not harness this magical energy, while others used their newfound powers to protect the kingdom and drive away the looming rot.
