After searching and searching all the rescues and humane societies for a mixed breed boxer, we finally found one, or so we thought. She was a beautiful four-month-old brindle. She was so friendly and playful, we couldnt believe she was returned to the humane society twice for being "untrainable". She was only 4 months old, they never gave her a chance. We took her home. After a few weeks, she was fully trained and loving her new home. After a few months, she started looking less and less like a boxer, so we sent off for a DNA kit. The results came back as mostly American Pit Bull and some Jack Russel. She was not exactly what we were looking for, but she has turned out to be the most wonderful addition to the family. ...
