As a pet lover, the thought of adding a pit bull to the home was never an option. All the misunderstandings and bad press these wonderful dogs receive had my eyes closed.

After searching and searching all the rescues and humane societies for a mixed breed boxer, we finally found one, or so we thought. She was a beautiful four-month-old brindle. She was so friendly and playful, we couldnt believe she was returned to the humane society twice for being "untrainable". She was only 4 months old, they never gave her a chance. We took her home.

After a few weeks, she was fully trained and loving her new home. After a few months, she started looking less and less like a boxer, so we sent off for a DNA kit. The results came back as mostly American Pit Bull and some Jack Russel. She was not exactly what we were looking for, but she has turned out to be the most wonderful addition to the family.

After two years now, she brings nothing but fun, love and protection to the whole house, humans and pets alike, including two cats. She has never shown a vicious side or any other bad traits you hear about pits.

She was the inspiration for this collection, so all you will find here, for adoption, are happy loving puppies ready for their new homes in your collections.

I want to give thanks to the two families that returned her to the Humane Society, because we never would have found such a wonderful dog if you hadnt. Also, thanks to all the Humane Societies that dont give up on all the wonderful pet/companions out there that need a good home.
